The Christian Development Committee has several important roles within Kingsview.  First and foremost is to develop and sponsor a variety of Christian education programs and events for all age groups to assist people in their efforts to learn and grow in the Christian faith.  Included in this list is the oversight of Church School programs, youth group activities, confirmation classes and bible study groups.  This committee is also involved, at arms length, with the Scouting program and other groups deemed as appropriate.  The administration of the Vulnerable Sector Safety Policy with all people working in a teaching / assisting capacity is also a responsibility of this committee.  Finally, this committee oversees the Kingsview Church Library, which is available to all members looking for Christian reading and viewing materials.

This committee is also responsible for the planning and execution of two important church-wide activities – the “Turkey-on-a-Bun” lunch and the Family Picnic.  The luncheon is held annually, in early December, immediately following the Children’s Christmas Pageant and the picnic follows the Church School promotion service in the latter part of June.
